This was a new single-storey extension and internal alterations to an existing house in Epsom. The extension was formed using timber studwork panels, with a ‘column-free’ fully glazed corner. New beams were designed in the existing first floor to form new internal openings. A reinforced concrete raft foundation was designed to support the new extension.
