The Thames Lido in Reading is a Grade II listed facility and was left derelict in the 1970s. Building on our earlier involvement at Clifton Lido (Bristol) we grabbed the opportunity to engineer another community lido.

 

Our sympathetic structural interventions and early input into construction sequencing was pivotal for the success of the project.

Innovative screw piles foundations were also used due to the proximity of existing trees.
