This sequence of photos shows the transformation wrought to the rear of a stone cottage in Wiltshire. It involved the demolition of an early single-storey brick extension and garage, followed by the construction of a one & two-storey wrap-around modern extension.

Having collaborated with Mark Clifford, of PKA Architects, on numerous previous projects, it was especially rewarding to support him in transforming his own home.

The new construction is masonry cavity walls, and a cut timber vaulted roof.
